Orang Mawas eating a poacher, pencil drawing by me. Malaysia’s version of Bigfoot/Sasquatch, it’s a 10 feet tall humanoid covered in black hair. A local name for them is ‘Hantu Jarang Gigi’ due to their snaggle teeth. This cryptid is indigenous to Johor rainforests. Additional info in comments. NSFW

The Lottery Number Ghost or 芭蕉鬼 in Chinese. An urban legend primarily among the Singaporean and Malaysian community. My quick pencil sketch of a Bomoh (Malay shaman) and his Hantu Raya (which functions much like a familiar). The name means Great Ghost in reference to their abilities. Their most infamous ability is to impersonate their master so that they may have an alibi after commiting a crime.
