When watching TV, my iPad was on the couch, reflecting the picture. I noticed from the corner of my eye that there was a really short (0,1s perhaps) delay between the TV and the reflection on the iPad. I noticed this every time the movie cut to a different angle/scene. What was going on?

What happens exactly in my brain when I enter a room and forgot why I got there, pick up my phone only to not remember what I was going to do, or when I open Google to search for something only to not remember it?
