Have Chinese (or other) people historically mocked the imperial Japanese seal because its Japanese name reads like "anus mark"(菊花紋) in Mandarin, due to the "Chrysanthemum Flower" part of "Chrysanthemum Flower Seal" being slang for "anus" in Mandarin? What about the Japanese flag's red sun? NSFW

Was the Russian revolution, and elements within it that opposed pogroms in the Pale of Settlement, given support by people who wanted the United States to enter World War 1, in order to quell this objection to joining the war (and therefore siding with the existing Russian state) by Americans?
