In an exothermic reaction, will the mass of a single molecule of each product be greater than a single molecule of each of the reactants (because they form compounds of lower energies and e=mc^2).

This may be a dumb question bet here it goes: The uncertainty principle is a I sequence of QM theory. Would it be possible to develop a new theory that would allow for one to take the exact measurements of the position and momentum of a particle?

Why does oxygen want to “steal” 2 electrons (totaling to 10) to fill its valence shell, when it has 8 protons? Shouldn't it be satisfied with the 8 it already has to have the proper proton/electron balance?

The free protons in acids steal electrons from molecules. So why are acids not just considered oxidizers? Or do I have a misunderstanding of how acids work?
