Despite the tropes, I'm only aware of one successful peasant rebellion (the one that toppled the Ming Dynasty and installed the very short-lived Shun Dynasty). Were there other victorious slave or peasant revolts?

Just finished reading Jonathan Roth's "The Logistics of the Roman Army at War." I'm impressed at the sophistication of logistical systems; way more effective than in the Medical Ages. Was there another premodern civilization that had better military logistics (e.g. Chinese, or the Islamic World)?
