I heard on a documentary recently posted to Reddit that if you were to eliminate the atomic empty space in the human body (between electrons and nuclei) the human body could be shrunk to the size of a sugar cube. How small would all the matter in the known universe shrink to?

Why does society seem so focused on where the human species came from (evolution vs. creationism), and so much less on where it is going (overpopulation, etc.)

A doctoral student I know was talking today about how scientists are researching how brain chemicals (dopamine, seratonin, and norepinephrine) fluctuate monthly, giving a bit of validity to the 'full moon effect'. Does anyone know more about this? Does it have a name I can research?
