White light is made from red, yellow and blue light, but is not actually part of the EM spectrum. Does this mean one could mix x-rays, microwaves, etc., and get "new" forms of radiation?

I can read an entire novel in one sitting, but if I try to read a text book, I feel slow, dull, and confused. Eventually, I might even get a headache. How much information can a human absorb at one time? Is there a point at which no new information can be absorbed?
