The game World of Warships has warships from WW1 to WW2 from all the major participants (except Italy, for now) and each nation has a sort of common theme running with theme. Does this have any historical basis or is it just for gameplay sake? I noticed the same in the game Navyfield, too.

Why did the light cruiser Königsberg have 2 guns in the back and 1 gun forward? Isn't that kind of bad since you expect most ship combat to be forward instead of backwards (except if you retreat ofc)?

Why was the Polish destroyer Błyskawica considered to be one of the most heavily armed and fastest destroyers of WW2? And how did the small, nearly insignificant Polish navy with barely any ship design experience, accomplish this?

Was the "Kingdom of Burgundy" a real thing? Was it something that existed as more than just an empty, decorative title? Like a real, at least somewhat sovereign political entity? Furthermore, did the later, powerful "Duchy of Burgundy" ever aspire to become a kingdom? If so, why didn't it work out?
