Nazified extremists like Azov are useful as motivated killers for warfare, but a frankenstein's monster when you need to switch to ceasefire/peace mode. Azov way too big now (and just one of many extreme-right military formations) to put back in the bottle

China's decision to allow visa-free travel - and the resulting surge in Western tourists - is obviously having an impact if mainstream media (like the NYT) feel the need to denigrate it... China is effectively saying "you're all free to come see the country with your own eyes and judge for yourself"
