Modern languages have things like exclamation marks and question marks to indicate the purpose, context or "tone" of a sentence. When did this develop? Are there ancient languages that had signs or different ways of writing to show a certain tone?

Assuming we had a field that reverses entropy, would the matter inside turn into Hydrogen (and eventually, it's constituent particles) or into something like uranium and beyond? Which one has the lower entropy?

A new paper claims neurons exchange virus like particles to share information and that this mechanism is connected to memory formation. Could this be why we have to sleep? To replenish the materials/energy needed to build these structures?
