To what degree did the US founding fathers like each other and get along? Were they fairly respectful to each other? Did they turn on each other after the Declaration of Independence or the adoption of the Constitution?

I'm a well educated Frech noble circa 1530. I've been steeped in Renaissance ideals, and maybe I've taken a swing through Italy to tour city states and Roman ruins. Do I idealize the Venetian and Genonian republics? How dissatisfied am I with the French Monarchy and political system?
