The Navy SEALs traces their roots back to the frogmen in WW2. In the Vietnam war, there was an explosion of US Military SF units. Why didn't this happen during the Korean War.

Why wasn't there any iconic military units from the Korean War? In WW2, there were OCS operatives, frogmen, Army Rangers and the Airborne units. In the Vietnam war we saw the official formation of US Military SF Units (Navy SEALs, Green Berets), and the formation of Air Cavalry/Airmobile units.
