A theory for the universes end is entropy is increased til nothing moves- cuz we thoughr the universe was slowing, but since its actually speeding up does this mean we just assume all energy runs out cuz thats how its worked so far small scale?

Einstein says the suns gravity bends the light of stars, during an eclipse he can prove it as the stars positions change. How does an eclipse effect anything? Suns mass is still there and therefore should still bend like? If mass is what causes gravity, how does the sun not still bend light
