AFAIK, the Jewish Diaspora was formed primarily as a result of the Romano-Jewish wars, which resulted in the dispersion of Jews throughout the Roman Empire. How, then, did Jewish diasporic communities make their way into non-Roman territories like modern-day Germany and Eastern Europe?
