Could someone give me an ELI5 overview of how Egyptian society changed between the Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom?

Hitler claimed publically to be a Christian yet he was non-practicing and all private sources show he thought it be weak superstitious rubbish, but he saw claiming Christianity as politically strategic. Was the same true of other Fascist leaders, like Mussolini, Dolfuss, Pavelic, Quisling, etc?
