One of my buddies found this original 1970’s Royal Knights of 89th St & Commercial, at the Thrift Store a few months ago on the South Side, not sure who’s family donated it, but always hurts seeing them being disregarded like this, thankfully this one is going to a loving home.

An outtake from a Nelson Algren documentary from 1975, the clip shows the Chicago author walking past a tagged up house by the Latin Pimps of Dean Park on Beach & Dean. The park has been claimed by several clubs over the years, namely LP’s, MLD’s, and HG’s. In 1994 a film “Blankman” was filmed here.
