Denatured alcohol contains additives to make it taste bad and be poisonous. Would it be better not to add those things to it and make that same alcohol something that you have to be of age to buy?

This video shows an IKEA shiny metal bowl that catches newspaper on fire because of how sunlight reflects focuses on one point. It looks like it catches on fire quickly & the piece of paper looks like it might have some fuel of some sort on it. Would this work this fast without fuel on the paper?

Should I wash my bag of little carrots? I always wash all other fruit & veggies but I never wash the bags of little carrots (the ones that are very tiny) because I thought they were very processed. Am I making a mistake?
