I recently heard Peter Byck talking about how if we can turn the soil "back on" we can essentially suck up CO2 and "fix" global warming. Is this true? If so, how easy would it be? About how much might it cost? etc

If the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light, are there parts of the universe that are more than 13.75 billion light years away? If so, can we look at them? If we could, would we be looking at something from "before" the big bang?
