Looking at maps of Yugoslavia, its clear that large parts of Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia had ethnic majorities from one of the other nations. Did this cause problems before the 90's? Were there any attempts to change the internal borders?

What kind of education do historians who specialize in the history of other fields, such as the history of chemistry or the history of music, get compared to others? Is history the major picked, or do they major in that field and then minor in history, or even just not getting history degrees?
