In movies like Star Wars, when ships come out of (or go into) hyperspace, wouldn't the difference in momentum between above light-speed to essentially 0 kill everyone inside? Knowing this, how long would a safe deceleration from ~99.99% light-speed to 0 take?

Why is anger an emotion that wasn't removed through evolution? What purpose does it have? Fear is supposed to protect you from the unknown/dangerous, and pain tells you that something is wrong with your body, etc.
