Couldn't/doesn't even slight imbalances in weight (such as astronaut weight differences) cause an extremely slight alteration of a craft's trajectory that becomes noticeable in trips of long distances, such as to the moon, or perhaps one day, Mars?

Since one theory of people "allergic" to water is that it's a tiny amount of an unknown substance dissolved in the water, wouldn't they have tried chemically pure water from a lab to see if it caused the reaction and rule out whether it's some other substance?
