Just what does an electron do different in a permanent magnet? I've read about magnetic dipole moment and spin but can't "picture" what it's doing differently to cause the atoms (in say, iron) to be magnetic.

Since we can see light, does this mean/reflect that length contraction due to high velocity only applies to that which has mass?

Say we make the breakthroughs to travel using the warp bubble. Would time within the ship travel much faster, since it's traveling by speeding up space time, or would time within it travel very slow because of time dilation for traveling at such a high speed?
