I read a time travel story once that had a bit in it set in 1250BC Olmec country. When the Olmec fight the time travelers they use Weapons with obsidian blades and clubs with shark teeth embedded them. is that at all consistent with known mesoamerican weaponry?

Did Ramsay MacDonald meet with the king on weekly basses, like the current MP does the Queen? If "yes" did many/any people on the British Left complain about the first Labour PM carrying on that tradition?

Suppose I went to Rome in AD454 (IE decades after the empire went christian) & went to the Temple of Jupiter. Would the building just be closed & empty, or would it be being used for a different function?

Were scholars in 18th/early 19th century Europe/America aware there were urban civilizations (such as the Kush) in the parts of Africa they would have considered "black", before there were any in northern Europe? If "yes" how did they square that with the "naturally inferior" argument for slavery?

I'm told that there's a bit in Livy's history were he speculates about what would have happened had Alexander turned west & ran into the Romans. Is there any indication Alexander was planning to hit Italy eventually (had he lived)? If "yes" is it likely that Livy would have known about such plans?
