suppose its the 1830/40s and you're going into unsettled (by white people) parts of north america to start a township. what's the bear minimum number of specialists (blacksmiths, carpenters, etc) you need to make it a practical venture?

wikipedia (and my grandmother) says that Blackpool Tower was supposedly built to be a replica of the Eiffel Tower. if that's the case why did they make it so much smaller?
