Is it possible to have depression and yet not know you have it?

Suntans aren’t really fashionable anymore but when I was younger everyone was a sun worshipper. But it never worked for me. I just used to burn. But why is that? Why do some (fair-skinned) people get a nice bronze tan whereas other people just burn?

Is it true that sunlight does not shine with the exact same hue and strength throughout the world? People will sometimes say that such&such a place has a different ‘feel’ to it because the sunlight is different. Is there any truth to this or is it just psychological?

I have heard that there are many animals that cannot see in colour? If this is true, what could be the evolutionary reason for this? Is there an advantage to only be able to see in black & white?
