Chemistry question: I poured acetone from this plastic container into this plastic cup. It ate through the bottom of the plastic cup though. What's the difference between the two plastics? (image attached)

What were some of the alternative explanations to the Solar Neutrino Problem, explaining why we only detected a third of the expected neutrinos from the sun? Was an indeterminate wave function collapse proposed? If so, how was it ruled out by the Super-Kamiokande experiment?

So, neutrinos only interact via the weak force and gravity. Electrons don't interact with the strong force, etc. Are there any particles in theory which interact with the strong and weak forces, but not electromagnetic or gravity (massless)?

If the universe is expanding, then the further back in time we go, the more densely compact galaxy clusters should be. So when we look further away, why don't we see that, in things like the 2dF Redshift Survey and Sloan Digital Sky Survey?

So, 1+1+1+1+1= -1/2. I heard someone mention that you can also do infinite sums with complex numbers too, but I haven't seen any examples. What would something like 1+i+1+i+1+i... be? what about 1-i+1-i+1-i...?

What sort of strange effects might we expect from a mobius strip made of graphene or silicene? Would such a structure even be possible?

In Michael Chrichton's "Sphere," where he was describing the "exotic-gas atmosphere" of the sea floor habitat, it only has 2% oxygen. is this realistic? What would an "exotic-gas" pressurized atmosphere consist of?

What does it mean for a black hole to be spinning? The mass occupies a zero volume, and I don't get how that could spin. And the event horizon isn't a "thing" that can spin either, so what exactly is spinning?
