I recently read about the Old Synagogue in Przemyśl. It fell on the Russian side of the Molotov-Von Ribbentrop line, but the Nazis arrived first and burned it before retreating. Were there other incursions by either the Russians or Germans on the other side of the new borders before Barbarossa?
