According to the Bible, the Tower of Babel is where all languages began. What documents or other similar things do we have in a language other than Hebrew that pre dates Babel, theoretically disproving it?

Throughout history, when "modern dress" was introduced, i.e., 3 piece suit in the 1900's, neck ruffs in the 1700s, etc, did the older generation think it was scruffy dress the same as some do now regarding our modern clothing?
