A common association of the Nazi rule was the targetting Jews and eventually they were massed in concentration camps and forced into long periods of torture or forced labour. If Hitler originally intended to exterminate the Jews, why use his resources to place them in concentration camps?

Most kingdoms and empires used the lion in their military and authority as a symbol of strength, might and authority while the Roman Empire used the eagle which is globally known used as a symbol of courage and freedom and is used in many heralds today. Is why this the case?
