In order to communicate with a small, distant object (say, for Earth to focus on Voyager or vice-versa), how precisely must angle be controlled? In other words -- is it important to be extremely precise in where we are pointing, or are we just blasting in the general direction?

Having learned that cancer is just cells with bad genetic mutations ... in an adult body, what portion of the "normal" cells is genetically identical to the genes endowed at birth? How commonplace and how persistent is mutation? Are we filled with innocuous mutants?

Seems like we often cure diseases in mice as a stepping stone to curing them in people. So, are these therapies made available to veterinarians, so that actual mice (pet mice) can see some benefit from these breakthroughs?
