The mummified head of Henry Grey 1st Duke of Suffolk 1517–1554 was found in 1849. It was later passed to St Botolph's Aldgate where it rested until a planned conversion of the space into an office resulted in an archaeological investigation of the site between April and July 1990. (Read 1st comment)
