[WP] Every species shares some part of their technological tree. Fire, then bio-mutating wood, then bio-starships. The Unoids, Renexalla, Renni... and now, First Contact has been made with a unified FTL-capable species that fly in metal boxes, use inorganic computers, and refer to 'electricity.'
