[WP] The townsfolk provided food and caves for the dragons in exchange for gold to use in their adventure dungeons. The adventurers bought goods in town then raided the dungeons. Easy money until a band of adventurers killed a dragon. Now the dragons want the locals to kill the band or no more gold
