[WP] Instead of gaining superpowers, like the comics said they would, the first human to get bitten by a radioactive insect instead became patient zero for the colloquially named "zom-bug apocalypse." Now humans have to survive while fighting literal swarms of humanoid insect/zombie hybrids.
