[WP] As well as our dimension, known as Dimension A, there is a Dimension B. Between these dimensions, are small "Sub-Dimensions", known as Slipstreams. Only Dimension A has travelled into the Slipstreams, and the people living in them have been told that Dimension B is twisted and brutal.
