[WP] Earth is invaded. Seeing that the war is unwinnable, Earth's gov'ts evacuate to Tau Ceti. Those who are abandoned are thought to have been killed. 300 yr later, humanity sends warships back to liberate Earth. Upon arrival, they see a thriving planet inhabited by both humans and the invaders.
