[WP] Fifty years ago, during the peak of Cold War US-Russia relations, an 'arms race' of scientific progress broke out. Today, the developed world is a utilitarian wonderland with virtually no problems except for one: the 'Cold War' never ended, and constant tension exists between the two countries.
