[WP] Excalibur isn't the only holy weapon. There's also Joan of Arc's sword and shield, and the spear that pierced Jesus' side, among others. These weapons are passed down through generations of Arthur's descendants, to be used in the ongoing quest to find and protect the Holy Grail.
