[WP]: Post-apocalypse, but it's just nice and chill. Not enough food to feed militarist raiding parties, everyone just focuses on trying to plant whatever grows. Mostly infertile from the radiation, every adult treats every random orphan as their baby. A soft, gentle extinction.
