[WP] you're aboard a Higgins boat on D-Day, strangely as the ship approaches shore the clouds start to clear up, and the sound of gunfire and artillery disappears. Upon arrival you see why, where there should be trenches and bunkers, there is nothing. There's no sign that the Germans ever were here.
