[WP] Heroes make less money than anyone thinks, only getting paid about $1,000 for every big crime they stop. On a good (and very rare) day, even the best hero can rake in about $3,000 dollars. As a result of this, many heroes take to becoming villains during the night as villains earn about $50,000
