[WP] AIs, like pets or kids, grow personalities that resemble the people they're around. Hostile, selfish people may have hostile AIs, a cherished and well taught one may espouse values or real empathy. A serial killer leaves behind a polite, benevolent AI and police aren't sure what to do with it.
