[WP] The Demon Lord with his centurys of experience was defeated by the Hero. The Hero didn't pull of some Miracle or didn't have some secret Spell that got him Victory. The Demon Lord simply wasn't accustomed to Dual wielders. This is very apparent in the Fact that he has a Sword stuck in his knee.
