[WP] Local legend says that the mountain range is only 'mostly' rock. Apparently, years ago, a titanic beast began to slumber atop the mountain range, and became one with it, explaining the curious appearance of the cliffs and peaks, and the 'curse', that nobody returns from a journey to the summit.
