[WP] The rift echoed pulses from deep within as if breathing. Spindly ethereal tendrils flowed out from the near painful light at the center, twisting and bobbing in waves with each of the pulses. Suddenly they all shuddered and pulled inward for a moment as a silhouette emerged from beyond.
