[WP] After a series of disastrous events, the Vikings pursued by the entirety of Europe flee to Vinland as refugees: where they are met by the Native Americans. A 1000 years later the Vikings homeland has all but been forgotten as the Viking/Natives rise to become an isolated superpower.
