[EU] 71 years after we defeated the Martians in the War of the Worlds, Apollo 11 landed on the Moon... and discovered the ruins of the extinct Lunites, massacred by the Martians. Lunite communication logs revealed we have neighbors from almost every planet: Jovians, Venusians, Europans, etc.
