Would this work? There are two Qsuite seats available for my flight in Sep. if I buy both and then cancel them before my flight. Would these vacant seats show up possibly as award seats or upgrades at check in?

Have you ever had J tickets then cancelled them before the flights. Then had those seats open up as upgrade options after? Thinking to do this with QSuites.
