[WP] Society always lamented that idiot-proofing only served to create better idiots. That we were breeding 'chaos monkeys'. Well that fear was put to rest as the age of alien invasions began, and time and again their societies would crumble under the weight of our collective idiocy.

[WP] Parents can bequeath anything to their kids: wealth, intellect, strength. And it compounds with each generation. As a 6th son of a 6th son (etc), you didn't expect anything to be left over for you, but on that fateful day, your whole ancestral history was burned into your mind.
