In The Great Dictator (1940) though both dictators are portrayed as arrogant and foolish, it is Hitler who is portrayed more as clumsy and incompitent while Mussolini, though also ridiculed, is portrayed as at least more compitent than Hitler. How come these two have essentially switched places?

When reading US history, it seems thst it's kind of a given that industrialisation makes slavery obselite. Not to defend slavery, but how can free labor power not be profitable?

How come Leftist Wartime Coalitions (Communists, Anarchists, Socdems, progressives etc) are in general less united than their right wing counter parts (Fascists, Monarchists, Conservatives) when the latter are usually far more divided?
